The Sonoma Valley Jazz Society presents Jazz on The Plaza at the Grinstead Amphitheater. Russian-born vocalist Masha Campagne interprets the sensual rhythms and sophisticated harmonies of Brazilian jazz accompanied by Harvey Wainapel on saxophone; Marcos Silva on piano, Scott Thompson on bass and Phil Thompson on drums. Lewis deSoto: Tales of Power at di Rosa Preserve

Lewis de Soto creates in a wide range of media – from intimate to large-scale public art. His work is included in numerous public and private collections around the U.S. “The Tales of Power” solo exhibition showcases his two thematically customized automobiles as sculptures, Cahuilla (2006) and Conquest (2004). Mondavi Winery Summer Music Festival

The Summer Music Festival kicks off each year with a traditional celebration featuring the Preservation Hall Jazz Band from New Orleans and a spectacular fireworks display. Picnics are welcome.
