What's Cool
An occasional table is a good idea from time to time

Today’s home décor does not have to follow yesterday’s edicts of matching themes and eras. Designers are mixing an antique piece with contemporary furnishings, or adding a modern accent to a classic setting –– bringing a new definition to the interior landscape.

Sometimes it’s as simple as adding a small piece that can fill out the look of a room without filling it up. The occasional table is one of those useful and decorative items that can be contrapuntal or complementary –– i.e., providing a counterpoint or blending with the overall motif.
